Tanya Posavatz PRESIDENT / CFO Tanya launched CLINK Events in 2002, and it quickly became one of Austin’s most reputable event planning companies. Between 2002 and 2009, CLINK gained a reputation locally, as well as nationally, as one of Austin's top event planning companies with widespread media attention and award nominations. A finalist for Event Solutions magazine’s “Event Planner of the Year” award, Tanya has also been a multiple-finalist for the international Esprit award, and a multiple winner of the Texas Star Award. After the merger of CLINK and Soirée in May 2009, Tanya took over as President and CFO of the new company. In this role, she oversees the company’s finances, new business development and strategic planning. Tanya was born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, but her event planning career started in the Washington DC diplomatic circuit, where she coordinated Embassy receptions and special events for four years. She then moved to Europe, where she developed her taste for European style, and got a “hands on” MBA working for a multinational company. Her international background and extensive travel are key inspirations in her event designs. And her diplomatic background keeps her cool and calm throughout the process. Tanya is one of only eight Certified Special Event Professionals (CSEP) in the Austin area. She holds degrees in International Politics from Georgetown University and International Economics from Johns Hopkins University. She speaks five languages, and has lived in seven countries. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with the Junior League. She is a former President of the Austin Chapter of the International Special Events Society and Austin Wedding and Event Coordinators.
